Perhaps, betting on sports dates as far back as the sports events themselves!  Millions of sports gamblers have made large amounts of money betting on their favourite sporting event. It is quite possible that there is not one sporting game that has not been bet on by avid fans. Aside from Europe betting, Australia is ideal because the gambling is legal and there as a number of sporting events for Australian fans to bet on, for example Australian football and Rugby to name a couple.  Tennis is also especially popular and you can find a number of betting tips and rules for this sport and many others when legally gambling in Australia.  Ireland is another country where a host of sporting events are available for sports betting. This is because much of the English sports played today came from Ireland counterpart sports. 

Europe much like Americas wager a number of sporting events surrounding soccer, darts, and motocross racing.  This includes NASCAR racing which ranks in the millions in wagers each year.  There are also a number of animal sports that allow for wagering such as horse racing or camel, pig and dog racing as well.
